OUR PRACTITIONERS

Gaia Awakenings is unique, born from a mother daughter partnership and shared desire as Co-Owner’s to create a sacred space deeply connected to life and Mother Earth through a profound sense of belonging, and respect for nature’s beauty and balance. Rooted in Earth-honoring approaches our philosophy is to awaken one’s life force energy and restore its natural balance, promoting harmony and well-being inherent in a healthy body.

Connie and Asheley’s journey together began after experiencing the transformative power of Reiki during their own life challenges. They were inspired to learn and share this practice with others. Their initial Reiki training led them to explore other lineages of Reiki; as well as, the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu and Sound & Vibrational Therapies.

Over the years they have traveled together across the United States seeking in-person training for Holy Fire Reiki III, Shamanic Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu. During this time they completed three Reiki Master certifications and received the distinguished title of Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner (a five year journey). Expanding their practice they completed certifications in Sound & Vibrational Therapies and have incorporated these therapies into their offerings. They are dedicated to bringing these alternative methods for health and wellness to their friends, family, and the community.

Connie and Asheley strongly believe that their hands directly touching the body (with clothing on) is the most effective way to transfer energy from a practitioner to a client. Recognizing this, they completed a rigorous 600-hour massage therapy course and successfully passed State testing to obtain their licenses, as required by the State of Florida, to place hands on the body.

Driven by their passion to help people, Connie and Asheley found an opportunity to utilize their skills to assist those affected by a devastating hurricane that hit their area.

Dedicated to continuing this work, Connie and Asheley remain steadfast should the need for recovery work arise again. Residing in Cape Coral, Florida they consider it home and are grateful to have five generations of women living in the area. Sharing their gifts with family and friends has always been the cornerstone of their practice. Now with a location of their own, they offer a sacred place to share their talents with the broader community.

They welcome you to their sacred space and invite you to experience their services, which are offered by appointment only.

They were called to work on the first State Emergency Response Team for mental health and wellness. This was the first team ever put together for this type of response to a disaster. This state-sponsored team spent weeks helping others after Hurricane Ian.

A year later they were called to help in the Big Bend area of Florida after Hurricane Idalia. They used their existing skills and learned new ones to specifically address trauma.
