During your energy healing session, you may have felt waves of subtle energy gently moving through your body or experienced deep relaxation and relief from stress, or discomfort. Some of you may have embarked on a journey or had profound spiritual experiences. After your session you may suddenly find you have a million questions about how energy healing works. There is much information to explore and plenty of amazing books, blogs and videos out there. Our resource section is a great places to get started.
You may have felt some results from your session immediately whiles others affects will unfold over time. Each session is unique, and the powerful energy that flows through your body is just the start of a healing journey that could take days, weeks, or even months to fully integrate.
While energy sessions are subtle and non-invasive techniques, they can have incredibly profound effects, creating shifts physically, emotionally, and spiritually.The healing process continues long after the session has ended. The first 48-72 hours are crucial for maximizing the benefits of your session, as this is the initial integration phase. To best integrate the healing work, consider the following tips presented here and explore what works best for you.
Grounding
Grounding is the practice of connecting your energy to the Earth, allowing the Earth’s energy to flow back into you. This exchange can optimize the human brain’s potential for health and well-being. There are several ways to ground yourself.
Drink More Water
Energy sessions trigger a detoxification process. This may create stronger reactions for some than others. The best way to combat the effects is drinking lots of water. Water keeps things flowing in your cells, joints, muscles, and organs and supports the flow of energy through your body. Adequate hydration will help to flush out toxins that may have been stimulated during the session. Avoiding alcohol and caffeine for at least the first 48-72 hours will help with the detoxification process.
Rest
For the first few days after your session it’s important to slow down. Get deep nourishing rest, this will allow the healing energy to really penetrate the cells and for your nervous system to re-calibrate to a new state. This means disconnecting from technology, turning off your phone, trust that the needs of others will be waiting for you when the time is right for you to return to the electronic world. Be kind to yourself, slow down, get lots of rest.
Allow Emotions to flow Freely
Your session may trigger deep emotional healing, which can feel pleasant or unpleasant. Simply acknowledge what you’re feeling without judgment or questioning. You don’t necessarily need to understand why you’re feeling a certain way; just allow the feeling to flow. If you feel like crying, let yourself cry; if you feel like laughing, then laugh. Let the emotions flow, knowing that this is your system’s natural way of finding balance.
Take Action
Once you made the decision to seek an energy healing session, you set an intention for what you wanted to achieve. After giving yourself time to integrate, its’ time to act on this new energetic foundation. Use the momentum to take a step toward manifesting your intention. This could involve starting a regular meditation practice, engaging in gentle exercise, improving your diet or cutting out things that no longer serve you. Whatever it is, taking just one small step can move you forward. Consistently making small steps can lead to significant improvements in your life. Energy sessions support your full awakening, but it’s up to you to bring these changes into your everyday life. Remember all change comes from within.

Similar to other holistic therapies the more consistent you are with energy sessions, the more benefits you’ll receive.
